You&#039;re welcome! Make sure that your aunt bears in mind that if she keeps a snake plant in a dark room that she&#039;ll need to check it more often for issues like pests and rot since it&#039;ll have less energy, and be less able to protect itself.

To be honest, all plants require some degree of light and care. In general, plants that require higher light levels are easier to care for than those that require lower light levels - think of caring for a cactus vs a Calathea!

If she doesn&#039;t want to care for a plant, maybe a fake one is better. There are some pretty realistic ones nowadays! Peace lilies are also an option for lower light areas since they droop when they&#039;re thirsty. They do require medium humidity and aren&#039;t keen on tap water though.]]></description>
