I think sometimes the stem must have weak portions that are prone to rot – that would explain why the stem rotted but the roots are fine. Good luck with cuttings!

I unfortunately got stem root 🙁 I was my first order of plants so I’m very new and it already arrived sogging, but then I watered too much too. I saw the issues quickly but couldn’t figure out what it was – actually also because the roots looked fine. so weird, I took the cuttings yesterday and chopped up the earth and roots out of curiosity and I could only see white healthy roots… but the stem was still rotting ‍♀️ I have two cuttings now, hope they will make it..
