Haha sorry I didnt give the answer you were hoping for.

However it’s more than likely totally fine. I’ve kept plants by my oven before and they got a bit greasy over time because I’m terrible at remembering to wipe the leaves.

Is it ideal? No (though wouldn’t it be great? More excuses deep fry food).

Will it harm them? Probably not significantly. I don’t think the spray helps in any way, so I wouldn’t rush to spray them again.

Hi Caroline, In your article , I was hoping for of coarse ,oils are fine, in fact put your plants in the kitchen right next to the deep fryer for Beautiful glossy shine on your plants. What I used on about 10 of my plants (several of which were philodendrons ) was Arum. It does say to use on hard leaves foliage. Don't spay on bottoms and don't overuse. Keep away from the fuzzies and Monocotyledons. I didn't know what they were until now. It's basically diluted castor oil. Do you that I'm okay?

Thanks,
